IDENTIFICATION PROJECTS AROUND THE WORLD
The EU Commission will publish an overwork on the regulation 1030/2002 soon for the Residence Permit Card. This is based on smart card technology combined with ICAO biometrics. This brings a second wave of digital ID documents besides the ePassport into 27 member states by regulation.
